In 2023, the Projecta brand will transition to the Da-Lite brand while maintaining all existing products and service levels.

Both brands have been sister companies since 1991, and during these 30 years many industry leading projection technologies have been co-created and marketed together. Projection screens materials such as HD Progressive, Parallax and also recent projection screen series such as SightLine are examples of the brands’ close alignment throughout the years.

This brand transitioning to Da-Lite will provide clarity and consistency for our customers worldwide when selecting projection screen solutions from Legrand | AV. During and after the brand transition, both Projecta and Da-Lite customers will continue to experience the same service levels when it comes to local production, delivery times, pricing and customer care. Projection screen production will remain in The Netherlands, and only the Projecta brand name is transitioning to the Da-Lite brand name.

Da-Lite will continue to launch new and industry-leading screen product innovations that can be deployed globally. Further information on the timing of any changes will continue to be communicated through email and at this website.

A timeline of Da-Lite and Projecta. Information in the timeline is as follows: Da-Lite was founded in 1909 by Adele De Berri. In 1932, Da-Lite developed the first electric screen, the Electrol. in 1957, Da-Lite moved to Warsaw, Indiana. Projecta was founded in 1952 by Cees Sprengers. In 1969, Projecta moved to Weert, The Netherlands. In 1967, Projecta expanded with a metal workshop. in 1991, Projecta and Da-Lite became one company. In 2008, HD Progressive for high resolution projection became available for Projecta and Da-Lite. In 2015, Parallax ALR became available for Projecta and Da-Lite. In 2022, SightLine Cable-Drop System is introduced worldwide. In 2023, Projecta and Da-Lite will continue under the name Da-Lite.
